About Us
Balshe Designs, a Melbourne based independent small business, is run by a duo/couple - Jonas and Shezlie. By day, Jonas is a designer in architecture while Shezlie is a research scientist. By night, we both become the designers and creators of the products behind Balshe Designs!
“Before we met, we were those individuals who either just used their left side of the brain – that would be me being a science and maths enthusiast – or their right side of the brain – Jonas being the creative one, always exploring the artistic side of things . NOT UNTIL WE MET! Not a day went by without us talking about the things we enjoy growing up and everything we do at work. Then out of the blue, Jonas started incorporating biology forms into his designs in university while I discovered my new passion for architectural designs. We created Balshe Designs because we want to show that different interests can be merged together creating unique and exquisite objects for others.”
